Dark Jake has all of the powers of the normal Jake Long. He can transform into a dragon, has chi shape shifting powers, and super strength, speed, agility, and fast healing. He is an evil doppleganger of Jake so his personality is almost a mirror opposite. He is still egotisitcal but to the point of wanting to rule over the magical world rather than simply having a big head. He hates many of the things Jake likes and expresses it openly. Because he is completely evil, there is no chance for redemption. He is evil through and through. If he acts good, it is simply an act.
